Daiwa Tanacom 500 is the perfect choice if you are looking for a power assist reel for inshore to moderate depth jigging. Its size is perfect for dropping for Halibut, Lingcod and other species in Puget Sound, Strait of Georgia and offshore up to 400'. In more warm climates it is top-choice for kite fishing. LCD displate reads out in english for easy control and programming. This reel has many program features including automatic retreive, automatic stop and jigging as well as the ability to use as a conventional manual reel should the need arise. A sealed electronics packages offers protection from marine corrosion. 12-volt system (12-16.8 Volts). Includes power cord with positive and negative leads, but can easily be retrofitted with a standard marinco plug, making the reel compatible with most Scotty electric downrigger plugs.
