The 7" Fat Scampi steps up from the standard scampi with a thicker body and beefier twin tails, giving lingcod, halibut, and other West Coast bottomfish more bulk to key in on when you're working deep structure or targeting larger fish. That added mass pushes more water on the drop, so the tails kick harder and stay visible longer in murky water, ripping current, or low light over rocky ledges and pinnacles.

Rig it on a heavy bullet or ball jighead to get down fast and hold bottom, then work it with a slow lift-and-drop along the structure, the extra body keeps that thumping tail action going even at a crawl.
