Okuma SST 8'6" Medium Salmon Steelhead Spin Combo

A true do-it-all setup for Pacific Northwest river anglers, this 8'6" combo handles more techniques than just about anything in the lineup. The 2-piece, medium action rod (8-17 lb. rating) casts spinners and spoons cleanly, drives home hooksets on drift gear, and works just as well twitching jigs through a seam. It's also available in a 9'0" option if you want a touch more reach.

On smaller rivers, it doubles nicely as a float rod, even though we typically lean toward longer blanks for that job. The Okuma Ceymar 4000 reel rounds it out with plenty of line capacity, a smooth retrieve, and dependable drag, matching the rod's balance perfectly. Choose P-Line CX Premium copolymer in moss or yellow for a thin-diameter mono feel, or 30 lb. P-Line EndurX braid in monster green or electric green, spooled and ready to fish.
